ALISOVA, L. (active 1980s) Graphic artist, children's book illustrator.

L. Alisova's spritely, cheerful paintings were produced during the last decade of Soviet governance. Early work includes simple, carefully observed flowers, her later work alternates between nostalgic images of traditionally dressed beautiful girls, and stylized, child-friendly images that illustrate popular Russian folk tale motifs.
